PostureRay Analysis
There is a Structure & Function relationship to all things in the Universe. Analyzation of the alignment of the spine can give us insight into the health of the Brain, nervous system, muscles, discs, ligaments, bones and organs. Cervical is Neck. Lumbar is Low Back.
Cervical Curve - Normal

A proper Cervical Curve enhances; appropriate input into the Brain, proper range of motion, health of the discs, ligaments and muscles of the neck, nerve flow to the entire body including the shoulders and arms.
Cervical Curve - Reversed w/ Degeneration

An abnormal Cervical Curve changes input into the Brain, decreases range of motion, puts stress on discs, ligaments and muscles and can disrupt nerve flow the the shoulders, arms and hands.
Cervical Spine - Front to Back - Normal

Head is level. Shoulders are level. Spine is straight.
Cervical Spine - Front to Back - Abnormal

The green line is normal. The red line is the Patient.
Head is tilted left. Spine is listing right.
Atlas - Normal

The Atlas is the first vertebrae in the spine. It has a platform on each side and is the base for the skull. It is in the shape of a ring and the spinal cord runs directly thru the middle of it.
Atlas - Tilted

A tilted Atlas can put abnormal pressure on the nervous system causing a number of symptoms in the body.
Lumbar - From the Side - Normal

The Sacrum angle and the Lumbar curve, along with their vertical relationship should be within normal limits.
Lumbar - From the Side - Abnormal

The green line is normal. The red line is the patient. Abnormal alignment and degeneration is noted.
Lumbar - Front to Back - Normal

Femur and hips should be level. Spine should be straight from top to bottom.
Lumbar - Front to Back - Abnormal

The green line is normal. The red line is the patient.
Unbalanced hips and a crooked spine can cause pain, degeneration and indicate abnormal Brain to Body connection.
Lumbar - Leaning Right

You may notice when this person leans right, the spine stays basically straight. This can be low back dysfunction or an abnormal Brain to body firing pattern.
Lumbar - Leaning Left

When the same person leans to the left, the spine bends and turns in a more normal pattern.
Posture Screen - Front to Back

We want the spine to line up straight from top to bottom and the hips, shoulder and ears to be level.
Posture Screen - From the Side

Our Posture is a window into the function of our Nervous System. By looking at you every visit and paying attention to your postural changes, we can get a good sense of how your Brain is working.
Posture Screen - From the Side

We want the ankles, knees, hips, shoulders and head to line up vertically. This view can reveal the Forward Head Posture of the patient.
